The Royal Borough issues a Guidance notice for busking which should be followed. Clarence Street in particular gets busy with buskers most Saturdays The area south from Clarence Street to Eden Street is pedestrianised and there are also open spaces along the river.

Kingston has a Monday and Saturday market. This restricts the space for dancing and has caused problems in the past.

There are many pubs and bars in Kingston. Below are some that we have danced at in the past:

The Bishop Out of Residence has Young’s beer and is on the river just south of Kingston. The Gazebo, just a bit further south has Sam Smiths beer, but not quite as much space for dancing. The Druids’ Head in the market is a friendly Hogshead pub. The Ram just south of the market on the High Street is next to a great dancing spot on the river.
