Snowdon cast top couple dance down the inside of the set
followed by 2nd and 3rd couple, then evens cross in front
of odds to set repeat.
Back to back 1 and 3 dance a diagonal back to back with 4 and 6. 3 and 5 repeat with 2 and 4.
Rounds at the top the top four dance clockwise, then bottom four
dance counter-clockwise.
Hey middle couple dance around each passing right, 1 and 5 cast out and pass right and 2 and 6 do the same to form a line of six across the set
repeat.
Whole rounds clock-wise forming the set half way round.
Finish sticking in with a six man low clash.
Relaxed 4-step. There is a slight hitch before
the first step.
Up on 1st beat of bar. Up
and down with Plain caper.
Long thin
sticks clashed butts and tips at end of half figures.

Odds clash tips to evens middle. Evens clash tips to odds middle.
Odds clash tips, butts, tips, butts on evens butt, middle, tip and
middle. Evens tips, butts, tips on odds butts, middle and tips.
Receiving stick held horizontally except on last tips.
Finish all in with clash singing “Knuckles all gory and covered in
blood”.
Tune is

Chorus is Sticking
All clash tips
with partner forehand then backhand twice. 3 moves into the middle of the set
and 4 moves out on second clash to form a ring.
3 then clashes
with each man in turn turning left. The men not clashing with 3, clash around
the set in alternate directions.
Finish butts
and tips with partner moving back into set.
Alternate
choruses 4 moves into the set to clash left around the set.
Finish all in.

Chorus is Sticking
All raise tips, ground butts, throw to partner and clash tips with
partner.
Repeat with 1 and 6, 2 and 4, 3 and 5.
Repeat with 2 and 5, 1 and 3, 4 and 6.
Repeat with partners, but finish butts and tips.
Optionally, in first chorus 2 will join the dance just before the chorus
throwing a stick to 5. He hands out the sticks using the normal chorus the men
without sticks miming as though they had a stick.
Optionally, one chorus will be called as doubles. 1, 4 and 5 retain their
stick and that thrown by their partner, clashing them together above the head.
Two sticks are then thrown and until the last throw when one stick is thrown to
partner with a clash.
Optionally, in the last chorus 2 will gather in the sticks as they are
thrown to him. 3 throwing his stick to 2 just before 1. The men without sticks
miming as though they had a stick.
